"We asked Robyne to help us with the landscaping design for our garden around our house, which sits on a 10 acre block in Tai Tapu. In our case we had a number of tricky site conditions, not the least being a site that until recently had been a paddock and half of our site is a hill.

Prior to meeting Robyne we had trouble finding designers who could help us with a country garden, in particular some of the difficulties working with a completely open design canvas, water restrictions, animal incursions and practical advice on how to put it all together. It wasn't a matter of designing a garden around our house, it was more of a whole property discussion and design.

We loved Robyne's friendly and practical approach, together with an understanding of what plants suited our area. Robyne first met with us on site, then worked with us to develop the layout and planting style. It took a few goes to get things sorted then we had not only a plan but a story book to go with it. She left us to it for 12 months, then we invited Robyne back to have another look around and to work with us to solve a few problems that living somewhere for a year in a place shows up.
